About the team
Mr. William Ong Meng Hwa, Managing Director
Mr William Ong is the Managing Director and Founder of ALPHA LAW LLC since 2009. He currently manages the firm with 2 senior lawyers who work hand in hand with a team of 10 experienced and dedicated paralegal, legal secretaries and business managers.
Before practising as a director at Alpha Law LLC he was practising as a sole proprietor under M/s William Ong & Company in the year 1997, Ong was practising as a partner under M/s William Ong & Chugani and M/s Ong Goh & Partners in the early and mid-1990s.
William Ong incorporated M/s ALPHA LAW LLC on 31st Aug 2009.
Ong, graduated from NUS Law Faculty in 1985, holding the degree of Bachelor of Law (Hons). He was called to the Singapore Bar on 12th February 1986. He has been in private practice for the past 34 years. Within these 34 years of practice, he has taken on Matrimonial/Family Law and Litigation Law as his core practice, and for the past 20 years, he has been highly active in the Conveyancing Law.
William was also appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths in the year 1997 and a Notary Public in 2008.
Other than being a veteran in legal practice, Ong is actively involved in his photography works and has won several awards in photography competitions
Gabriel Sebastian, Director
Mr Gabriel Sebastian graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) degree from the Faculty of Law, NUS on 13 June 1985.
Sebastian was called to the bar on 12 February 1986. After graduation, he worked at Malayan Law Journal Pte Ltd for 2 years as an Editorial Assistant.
Gabriel started practice in civil litigation thereafter. In December 1990, he joined the Singapore Civil Service. His last department was Registry of Companies and Businesses (now known as ACRA) where he worked for 7 years as a Senior Compliance Management Officer. He started practising again in 2007 as a Legal Assistant in K H Ching LLC.
Gabriel's main area of practice was conveyancing. On 15 February 2017, he joined Alpha Law LLC and was appointed as a director of Alpha Law LLC on 1st April 2019.
Nicki (Nic) Tan, Senior Business Manager
Nicki Tan has been with Alpha Law since 2010. During the 10 years with the firm, Nicki has earned her publicity within the conveyancing industry.
Tan has a pool of loyal and dedicated professional partners and clientele that she has work with for many years.
These partners and clients have been very pleased with her professionalism and dedicated work. Tan also provide sound and practical advice to them and ensure satisfaction for all parties.
Sophia Tan, Business Manager
Sophia joined Alpha Law in 2017. In the past 3 years, she has developed and maintained a good rapport with the firm's preferred partners, such as Mortgage Bankers, Real Estate Professionals and many past and existing clients.
Having able to provide knowledgable advice on the conveyancing procedures and complex mortgage calculation for her clients, Sophia is well-liked by the people she has to connect with.
Andy Jeremiah Lam, Digital Marketing & Business Strategist Manager
Andy is a Visionary that has been doing business development & management for the past 10 years. His unparalleled skill of business development has led him to a great network of people which helps to strengthen the business relationship between companies.
After spending 7 years in the field of the furniture industry, he is very well versed in international business where he opened the route for China, India, and MENA market for business expansion.
Lam, currently holds a Diploma in Service Leadership (Business management), currently pursuing another Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing and Campaign Strategies from DMI (Digital Marketing Institute).
Before starting his journey with ALPHA LAW LLC, he worked for several international furniture firms, in business development and project management for large-scale commercial projects across China and S.E.A. regions.
Andy has recently participated as a panel speaker for SIM Managing International Businesses (ESG Scale-Up Program).
